Front and back photos are taken in the lab under directional lighting. Compare the surface, corners and edges with the card in front of you.

Questions buyers actually ask.
What exactly does a Holo Passport prove?
It proves that a specific physical card was inspected by Under the Holo on a given date, and it publishes everything we recorded: photographs, sub-scores, notes and the estimated condition range. It is documentation, not certification.
Can a seller edit or fake a passport?
No. Records are created and edited only inside the lab. The page you are reading is served from undertheholo.com; a QR code that resolves to any other domain is not one of ours.
What does the estimate number mean?
It is our independent opinion of the condition band the card sits in, on a 1 to 10 scale, based on centering, corners, edges and surface. Certified grading companies apply their own standards and may reach a different number.
The code on my case is not found. What now?
Check for confusion between 0 and O, and make sure you typed all six digits after the UTH prefix. If it still fails, the record may not be published yet — contact us with a photo of the label.
Does looking up a card cost anything or require an account?
No. The registry is public and free to search, with no account, no tracking wall and no rate limit for normal use.
